A homeowner purchased a house and hired a home inspector to conduct an inspection before the purchase. After moving in, the homeowner discovered several problems that were not mentioned in the inspection report, including faulty wiring and structural defects, leading to significant repair costs.
The CPM attorney successfully defended a home inspector against a homeowner’s claims of negligence and fraud, among others, in a lawsuit where the homeowner sued not only the company, but the inspector in his personal capacity. The attorney not only successfully prevailed on summary judgment against all Plaintiff’s claims and recovered attorney’s fees on the client’s behalf.
