Ryan S. Bundy

About:

Ryan joined Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP in November 2016 and currently serves as Director of the Creditors’ Rights Group. Under his guidance, the group takes a comprehensive approach to clients’ collection management processes, ensuring maximum recovery while carefully managing costs and protecting our clients’ rights. The group’s work spans a broad range of debts, including auto loans, credit card debts, student loans, construction receivable accounts, and medical debts.

Ryan focuses his practice on creditors’ rightsbusiness litigation, and real estate and construction disputes. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. A member of the Ohio Creditors’ Rights Association, Ryan is well-regarded for his strategic and results-oriented approach to legal challenges.

 

Education

Ryan received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Ohio Dominican University and his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Duquesne University School of Law in 2010.

Ryan is a member of the Ohio Creditors’ Rights Association, the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association.

 

Professional Recognition

Before joining Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP, Ryan worked in the area of Natural Resources law, primarily focused on the development of the Marcellus and Utica Shale. He has extensive transactional experience involving due diligence associated with mineral and lease acquisitions. In addition to litigating and resolving title and lease disputes for major oil and gas developers, Ryan was the co-editor of the Oil and Gas Law Summaries published by Steptoe & Johnson PLLC for Ohio and North Dakota. He also co-authored “The Quick and the Dead: Cessation of Production and Shut-ins during the Secondary Term of an Oil and Gas Lease,” published in the North Dakota Law Review.
