Shaun Lyons concentrates his practice primarily on business litigation, securities law, and employment law. He has significant experience representing employers and employees in state and federal court proceedings and arbitrations, and has assisted clients with trade secret matters, contract actions, workers compensation defense and legal issues relating to preservation and discovery of electronically stored information (“ESI”). Shaun drafts concise, precise, and persuasive legal memoranda and briefs on a wide variety of legal issues.
Professional Associations and Memberships
Shaun has been admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and the State of Florida. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Shaun was appointed as the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Liaison to the Standing Committee on Law National Security for 2016-18.
Shaun received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law center in 2013. He received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Florida in 2007.
Shaun enjoys playing music with friends, traveling, golf, and college football. Prior to pursuing a career in law, he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine from 2008-10. He speaks Russian and some Ukrainian.
