Elizabeth Zuercher (Liz) is in the Family Law practice area at Carlile Patchen & Murphy and focuses her practice on personalized family solutions for her clients in the areas dissolution, divorce, child custody, child and spousal support. She also handles other family centered matters such as pre-nuptial & post nuptial agreements, paternity, and adoption.
Liz started her career as a criminal prosecutor and has been practicing in the family relations law field since moving to Ohio in 2008. Before joining Carlile Patchen and Murphy, Liz was an associate attorney at Friedman & Mirman Co. and prior to that, a staff attorney for the former Honorable Christopher J. Geer, Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Branch.
Professional Association and Memberships
She is a member of the American Bar Association Family Law Section, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Women Lawyers of Franklin County and serves on the board of governors for the Columbus Bar Association. She is a past president of the Junior League of Columbus.
Liz received a bachelor of science (BS) with honors in kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and went on to receive her juris doctorate (JD) from Southern Illinois University.
