Carol Sheehan practices Real Estate Law and Taxation Law at Carlile Patchen & Murphy. She focuses on development and financing of affordable housing and represents real estate developers (both for profit and non-profit), as well as other small businesses.

Carol joined CPM in June 1977. She is currently the Chair of CPM's Tax Practice Group.

Community Involvement

Carol is a past member of the CREW Network, Trustee of the Ohio Housing Council, former Vice President of the University Club, and Centennial Board member of the Columbus YWCA. She is a past Board Member of the Columbus Business and Professional Women and the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Association of Franklin County. She also served as Secretary for this organization.

Carol has spoken at seminars sponsored by the Columbus Area Small Business Administration, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the Columbus Bar Association, the American Society of Women Accountants, the National Business Institute and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency and Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.

Carol is a member of the American Bar Association, Forum Committee on Affordable Housing, Community Development and Business Law, and  Taxation and Real Estate Committees of the Columbus Bar Association and member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Carol received her undergraduate degree from The University of Michigan and her law degree from The Ohio State University in 1978.
