Alicia Nesline Shaw

Alicia represents business entities in her corporate and employment law practices, as well as individuals and estates in the estate planning and administration process.

Her corporate experience includes counseling closely-held business owners through the "start-up" process; handling mergers and acquisitions; providing administrative and regulatory consultation in a variety of regulated fields; and advising clients regarding their obligations to collect and remit sales tax in Ohio and other jurisdictions. Alicia regularly works on a variety of employment law matters including; charges of discrimination, discharge claims, OSHA matters, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, wage & hour, and discipline/discharge cases. 

In her estate planning and administration practice, Alicia assists the representatives of an estate in valuing and distributing estate assets, and prepares all appropriate estate tax and court documents. She also guides clients through the process of setting up an estate plan in order to minimize the administrative costs and tax obligations of their estate, and transfer their assets according to their wishes.

Alicia is a member of the firm's Business Law Group, Employment Law Group, and Family Wealth Planning Group.


Alicia received her law degree from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond.
